French people suck at labor law?

This morning, Boursier.com revealed the results of a survey conducted by mon-avocat.fr, one of the largest French platforms for bringing together clients and lawyers.

If one expected a certain lack of knowledge of the law in general on the part of litigants, which is quite logical given the complexity of this environment, some points of this survey are quite surprising. For example, a significant majority are unaware of how lawyers' fees are set, and one third assign functions to lawyers that are not theirs.

More importantly, this survey confirms the usefulness of platforms such as ours that help to clarify the selection, choice and relationship with one's lawyer. And it may also be, why not, a source of inspiration for Legal Finder to conduct similar surveys in the coming months in Luxembourg.
